Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 278: 4/29/23: Redfall Edition
Meanwhile, I've added Fran Bow to my Xbox wishlist, and as soon as it goes on sale I'm gonna grab it & make Tam play it. I loved it, and I'm pretty sure she will too.

Getting close to the end of the story in Burning Shores, but there is still plenty of side stuff to complete. Good times. What about it couldn’t be done on PS4, because they said that it could only be done on PS5 which is why they didn’t release it for PS4 as well despite them releasing the main ga...

Re-discovered Grindstone, aka pure digital crack. It's finally getting ported to other consoles, so I highly recommend you guys check it out if you like puzzle games at all. I just watched the trailer... it should have had a trigger warning for monkey stabbing. That looks like a match-3 type ...

Games added: Nothing that I remember Last week: Finished nothing, played Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord, Grindstone This week: Same Fairy Fencer is good so far, my only complaint is that Idea Factory picked this game to be their first US release without an English dub. :| On the fence about the new ...

Re: The Haul Thread 2023
Wait, they sell a whole ass new Zelda game themed Switch... without the game? Do they give you a voucher for it to download or something? They have to, they at least do that much in those ridiculous special edition games that include everything but the disc version of the game. I guess Nintendo alw...

Re: The PS2 Backlog Committee Game Club #1 - Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow
Hearts have never refilled health in Castlevania games (yeah, it's weird, but just a remnant of NES weirdness). Traditionally they have given you uses of your sub-weapons, but since there are no sub-weapons in Aria they refill a tiny bit of your magic meter - it's honestly not even noticeable unles...

Re: The PS2 Backlog Committee Game Club #1 - Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow
That's something I meant to ask here. I saw no evidence that the hearts moved my health bar at all... throughout the entire game. Even when I picked up a giant one. Did I miss something? Hearts have never refilled health in Castlevania games (yeah, it's weird, but just a remnant of NES weirdness). ...
