Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 7: 2/17/18: Metal Gear Survive/Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Edition

Tam & I hit the point in Monster Hunter tonight where the game "really starts". :P It's a massive game, packed full of content. Always seems to be something new to do, discover, etc. Do you still feel that it can only really be enjoyed as a co-op/multiplayer game, or could it be fun a...

The Backlog Check-in Vol. 7: 2/17/18: Metal Gear Survive/Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Edition

Played: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Finished: Nothing Playing: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Purchased: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Kingdom Come: Deliverance really has its hooks in me, it's definitely a hardcore RPG. The prologue took me five hours, and was really good. After that the game really opens up...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 6: 2/10/18: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Edition

I played more Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and I'm enjoying my time with it. The prologue took me five hours to get through, and was really good. The prologue is somewhat linear, and what you play before the game lets you out into the open world. The story and characters are really good, and the world...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 6: 2/10/18: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Edition

The Kingdom Come: Deliverance day one patch finally finished downloading at 1am this morning. I played the game for a couple of hours before going to bed, and I liked what I played of it. I can tell that I'm going to be spending a lot of time in its world. You start in your house and the graphics lo...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 6: 2/10/18: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Edition

Sorry to hear that, I know that you're a big Dynasty Warriors fan so it's a shame that the new game is a letdown. I've been hearing reports of game breaking bugs in Kingdom Come: Deliverance that have me concerned. I can deal with glitches and jank: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgTGg1kUQCo but ga...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 6: 2/10/18: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Edition

I really do hope Kingdom Come is good, both for your sake & my friends. But I have seen some things that would make me hesitant even if I did have an interest in it - the most recent being that there's apparently a *23gb* day-1 patch. That's nuts, and doesn't exactly instill confidence....

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 6: 2/10/18: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Edition

I wouldn't say the hunting challenges are filler... more like they're for people who buy very few games and like to squeeze ever ounce out of them. Some of the the challenges were fun, but I got so annoyed at a couple of them that I just said nope. And I enjoyed getting the collectibles, especially...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 6: 2/10/18: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Edition

Just finished Horizon. That last bit was rough... I thought I might have to reload back to an earlier point, but I managed to get through it. Why didn't you just drop the difficulty at the end, that's what I did. My final time was 80 hours. Wow, I put 50 hours into it and thought that was a lot. I ...
