Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 11: 3/17/18: Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Edition

If ND could have had the story they originally intended play out in 3 then maybe, but since they were forced to write out one of the main characters half-way through the game & then went on to do a copy/paste of the ending of 2 it just feels disjointed and uninspired. This is the first that I'm hea...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 11: 3/17/18: Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Edition

Ha, sadly not too far off. I'll never understand the venom so many have towards UC3. It's incomprehensible to me. (or just hyperbole) I get preferring 2 over 3, fine. But essentially, THEY'RE THE SAME GAME!!!!! So silly to me. I don't hate 3, but I see 2 as the objectively better game. If ND could ...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 10: 3/10/18: March Madness Edition

Izzy, now that you mention it I think J mentioned that variable impact issue when he was playing it but I haven't noticed anything so far. Not saying it's not there, but it hasn't impacted my enjoyment any (at first that pun wasn't intended, but now that I've typed it it is SO intended! :P ). And yo...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 10: 3/10/18: March Madness Edition

Games added: Shadows of War Last week: Finished nothing, played Everybody's Golf & Shadows of War This week: More of the same Gamestop had (has?) Shadows of War on sale for $30 so I decided to pick it up since it was the kind of thing I was in the mood to play. Having a blast with it so far. It's v...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 9: 3/3/18: Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition....Edition

So I'm really enjoying Hot Shots...I mean Everybody's Golf. ;) The xp progression system and tons of unlockables really add a lot to the solid-as-usual gameplay. Kinda wish there was a portable version - maybe there will be a comparable Mario Golf on the Switch soon-ish. Really starting to get the i...

The Backlog Check-in Vol. 9: 3/3/18: Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition....Edition

Not much coming out this week except for the FFXV Royal Edition, for anyone who hasn't played that yet. :) Games added: Dungeons III, Lichdom Battlemage, Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines Last week: Finished nothing (well, finished WITH MHW, but didn't see the credits), played MHW, Everybody's Golf, Matt...

Tam & I hit the point in Monster Hunter tonight where the game "really starts". :P It's a massive game, packed full of content. Always seems to be something new to do, discover, etc.

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 7: 2/17/18: Metal Gear Survive/Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Edition

I haven't played anything since beating Horizon. I'm on vacation next week, so if I start a game on console it'll be a short one like Firewatch. I'll also get something going on the portable side for the flight. Since Izzy was mentioning PS+ freebies for the month, let me recommend trying out Grand...
