PS2 Backlog Committee

Played recently: Yakuza: Like a Dragon Finished: nothing Added to backlog: Gibbon: Beyond the Trees (I love gibbons, could watch them swing for hours), Windbound Current backlog: 35 I'm very much into Like a Dragon now. Such a fun game. It is crazy how they turned Yakuza into a JRPG so successfully.

Those first two seemed oddly appealing to me until I read your write-ups.

Great list! I've played too few games to even bother with rankings, but we have the same GOTY. So good. (My runner-up: Octopath Traveler II) I'll buy Tchia one of these days, assuming it doesn't come to PS+. Speaking of which, you just reminded me I now have access to Powerwash Simulator. Very interesting list. I'm surprised you finished 10 games.

The only one I've played is P4. It's been a while, but I feel like I spent as much time in dungeons as I did with the other stuff. Maybe I went through them more than I needed to for grinding or collecting/merging monsters?

The sailing/rowing can feel slow as you search for more islands, but again, the mood (at least for me) makes it relaxing and fun as I search for new destinations. Anyone who enjoys the open water / oceans will probably enjoy the sensations here. There's also some story telling, but it's very minima...
