My God of War arrived but I won't be playing much until Monday, most likely.

I finally got to play God of War four hours after I originally wanted to play it (there's a third update that took another thirty minutes to download), and it was worth the wait. Based on what I've played of it so far, it's firing on all cylinders. Story, characters, graphics, music, gameplay, combat, light exploration, environment puzzles, bosses - everything is top notch.

It reminds me a lot of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. It's more gameplay and combat heavy of course, but it has a very similar design, look and feel to it. That's definitely not a bad thing since that was one of my favorite games last year. It also somewhat reminds me of the new Tomb Raider games (minus the platforming), again not a bad thing as those are a couple of my favorite games.

I hope the new GOW is great for all you guys playing it. Look forward to hearing impressions throughout.
