Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 5: 2/3/18: Shadow of the Colossus Edition

3 colossi down, 15 fruits eaten, 1 silver lizard tail consumed. The special edition comes with a map, some stickers, some art cards, a printed manual, and a steelbook case that has colossus 3 on the cover (at least for me). Is that why the #3 is circled on the back? I was wondering about that... I ...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 5: 2/3/18: Shadow of the Colossus Edition

Games added: Dragon Ball Fighterz, Bleed 1&2 Last week: Finished nothing, played a ton of Monster Hunter This week: More MH. Sorry I've been out of pocket lately, but work has really, really sucked. We had the head of the dept & our network admin quit within a month of each other (head of d...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 4: 1/27/18: Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Edition

Games added: Lost Sphear, Monster Hunter: World Last week: Finished nothing, played Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, Fallout 4, Monster Hunter: World This week: Mainly MH, and picking up Dissidia tomorrow so that too. I can see why my friend really likes Digimon, but I don't think it's for me. The creat...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 3: 1/20/18: Monster Hunter World Edition

I stopped playing Sword Coast Legends, I put some good time into it and was finding the experience to be rather average. It's not bad, it's just not really good either. It's primarily a dungeon crawler, and a lot of the dungeons are overly big and mazelike. Then they started to introduce obscure pu...

Re: The Backlog Check-in Vol. 3: 1/20/18: Monster Hunter World Edition

My final time in Fallout 4, counting the time I put into it when it first came out as well as what I played of it since picking it back up just before Christmas was over 240 hours. Game is amazing. And if anyone has played the main game but not Nuka World, you really need to. It's a massive expansi...

Re: Phaseknox's Top 10 Games of 2017

Great list Phase - I think the only 2 I either haven't played or don't already have in my backlog are Night In the Woods and Full Throttle. I'll have to keep an eye out for Night In the Woods, but I learned my lesson with going back to old point-and-click games when I tried to play the Grim Fandango...

Re: Argyle's Top 10 Games of 2017!

Horizon didn't make that list for me either. Ouch! You definitely liked it less than I realized. But thanks for including some honorable mentions, because I feel that our taste in games is similar and I always look forward to finding out what you really liked in a year. I have Hitman GO, Watc...

Re: Argyle's Top 10 Games of 2017!

I was surprised by the lack of RPGs on the list, but I assume that you didn't finish some that you played like Persona 5 and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. I didn't finish Witcher, and I didn't *really* play P5. I started it more or less just to see what it was like, but I was playing something else w...

Argyle's Top 10 Games of 2017!

OK, I'm finally ready! First, let me say that I avoided Izzy's topic on the old board because I didn't want to read it until I was ready to post mine, and now...it's gone. I don't expect anyone to re-type any huge posts because I suck, but if you guys happen to have them saved somewhere by som...
