I hope that the definitive edition goes on sale soon along with Dead or Alive 5, because those are the two fighting games that I still want right now. I’m going to buy Street Fighter V: Champion Edition tomorrow.

Fran Bow is open-ended and abstract in all the best ways. Some games try to be dark or edgy just to be doing - the American McGee games come to mind - but everything in FB feels like it serves a purpose. You're right, it really does keep you thinking about the story long after you've finished it.

And I thought you said they had made another game, but I couldn't find it yesterday when I did a quick look. And hey look, Humble Bundle has it on sale too! *bought*
"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed
if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I
became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the
desire to be very grown up.” ― C.S. Lewis

Last night I figured I'd spend a little time in the casino after doing some other stuff, and not long after I plopped myself down in front of the slots, that happened. And it happened when I was at max bet (for that machine) and on a silver spin that doubles winnings. I think it was 200,000 tokens on that spin alone. Needless to say, I redeemed them for some nice goodies.
Nice work! 8-)

I regret selling my Neo-Geo and game collection for it (I had a lot of games). Have you seen what those are worth now? Talk about still stinging.
Probably best to not look anymore, lol. I'm sure it hurts.

The chapter is titled Double Jeopardy...but this is not what double jeopardy is. At all. At any place on the planet. Also, criminal justice is not determined by overwhelming public sentiment based on a couple viral videos. They have completely lost the plot at the moment for this utterly ridiculous reveal. DQ Builders 2 is sitting right over there looking real good for my big end of summer game if they don't fix this in...I will give them two chapters...
Oh, like I can ever remember anything in these hundreds of games I've played. I'll look it up and get back to you.

Nothing is happening with Yagami in terms of development and the central mystery is so convoluted this time I can't seem to hit a groove like I did before. The last one had a really strong premise and this one just kinda keeps jumping around and dropping big things but they just aren't landing. Could just be me honestly but I just am not into the plot at the moment and the characters aren't compelling me either. When Yakuza loses the plot (like 80% of the time it does), I still like the cast and side stuff long enough to get back to the plot eventually. I do dig huge parts of the game but the story and Yagami just are glaring issues hence my numerous posts :P .

Gotcha. I have Judgment but haven't played it yet. Wasn't sure if your issues were tied to playing Lost Judgment first.

Ok crim, I got a refresh on the chapters and story. Stay with it for a few more chapters as the story will unfold some more though I can't say what your response will be.
