Wow! That is beautiful. Infinitely better than the crappy LRG box art.

Thanks - that LRG cover is a pretty low bar though.

In another life, I was a graphic designer...

Hey all. I have been cleaning the basement all week and July 4th weekend the kiddo had a national taekwondo tournament this week. She got bronze, first time at nationals!

More importantly...I BEAT A PS5 GAME!!! Ok. It was Shadow Generations. But I beat something on PS5! I must say, that was a stupidly badass spectacle. Like, it's REAL dumb. In the best ways. Also, for no really good reason, the felt the need to connect the Shadow boss fight in Sonic Generations to the story of Shadow Generations. It's actually pretty clever. It is also exceedingly unnecessary. If you have a few hours and haven't cancelled PS Plus, it's up there now. Give it a go. It's so overly serious. One boss as they die belts out 'NO! I WANT TO EXIST...' and I busted out laughing.

Now I'm moving on to Rift Apart. I like it but not instantly loving it like I typically do R&C games. The bosses and enemies are a bit spongier than I would like. But I am sure it will win me over. I mean, Nefarious is already doing the most. And Rivet is cool so far.

After that, Spiderman 2!

Also, I bought nothing in the Steam sale. I think my backlog is too big so unless it's a really good deal, I will stick with what I have and whatever few games I get from Humble Choice which is a good deal.

WHOA! That is impressive. Congrats to her and you. That will shape her in all the right ways for the rest of her life.
