Was in the area last night so I swung by Gamestop, and they were actually running a half-way decent sale. Picked up Metroid complete used for $27 after my monthly $5 coupon & extra 10% off they were running. Then they were also doing a b1g1 sale on select games. Most of them were marked up so it wasn't much of a deal, but the 2 I got were marked $20 each, so $10 a piece was pretty good I thought. Only Scarlet Nexus was actually "new", the other one being a GS gutted deal, but for the price I didn't really care.

As much of a FROM fanboy as I am, I've never played an AC entry. I've always meant to go back and do that. I *am* interested, but I just never got around to it for whatever reason. Let us know how you like it argyle. I'll probably pick it up on Steam one day.

It looks like they invested some of that Souls money into this one because it looks (from videos I've seen, still haven't booted it up myself) like it has much higher production values than past titles in the franchise. I've heard it's fun, so I've been wanting to pick it up - was content to wait, but GS actually had a good trade-in deal where you could trade 2 games from a select list towards a new game & get $50 total for them.
