I started playing Raging Bytes, it’s a 2D top down view pixel art zombie apocalypse game with 3D turn-based combat. It has a retro style charm to it.

I fired up Resident Evil 3 (the original PS1 entry). I hadn't played a game in the classic formula in years, and I was in the mood. Still a great game, even if it's showing its age a bit. It's certainly the most unique among the old-school entries imo. I still seem to find myself in the mood for older (mainstream) games or newer (indie) games for whatever reason. But yeah, I'm enjoying this return trip to Raccoon City.

If you’re interested in playing a new old style Resident Evil type game then I would recommend Alisa.
