Phase, this goddamn list is amazing sometimes. Notes:

-Space Marine...II!?!?! YES PLEASE!!!!!!!

-Funko Fusion. I have seen the ads. The ****? It looks like toys to life like 7 years too late. Additionally, the franchises they got are so goddamn random.

-There's a Rugrats game? Huh.

-They did not remake Lollipop Chainsaw...right?

-How did I not know MVC collection is this week? Me and the kiddo are going to be eating good, I have her hyped for this one!

Thanks for your service Phase, it is appreciated!

Played: look Izzy. Imma finish SMT3. But I hate the dungeons. I have some kind of mental block and suck at them. Now I'm in a subway looking for 4 demons but only found two after a week of searching. So I went back to my other modern PS2 favorite, Hi Fi Rush. I just finished listening to The Power Broker (**** Robert Moses so goddamn hard) audiobook, so Hi Fi Rush will be my commute game before I go back to SMT3.

Beat:I told you, The Power Broker audiobook. Now I'm in the one percent of liberal elites :P !

Bought: Nothing. I think. I am going to abso ****ing lutely going to blow my $60 of Father's Day Steam credit on Kingdom Hearts unless someone says no by tomorrow. The ball's in your court...because if I buy this on Steam, I can't be held accountable for my further incoherent posts...

This week: Hi Fi Rush I guess

So school started this week. In the words of Roxas, looks like my summer vacation is over...which is fine. This summer was barely a summer and sucked. I am so glad I trudged through Infinite Wealth during the school year in bits because if I waited till summer, it would still be unbeaten. What a lame summer. But the kids seem chill this year. Let's see how it goes.

Also Izzy, it's 4 children and 16 minutes of gaming time. Don't take that from me  .

No, it’s just a remaster.

Finished: Nothing

Now Playing: Astro Bot, Layton's Mystery Journey (3DS)

Added to Backlog: Astro Bot

Current Backlog: 44 games

Astro Bot is awesome! Anyone with a PS5 that enjoyed Astro's Playroom should be picking this up. It has even more callbacks to Playstation history, lore, characters, and games. Some of these levels are fantastic.

Don't force yourself to finish it on my account. No need for self flagellation unless you're just embracing the general vibe of SMT III. :P

Image or Tomato / Tomahto or something. :P

Edit: And I now have a new theory on cane's absence. Upon realizing the jobless state of Mr. Cane, Mrs. Cane informed him that the coochie cupboard is now closed. That, surprisingly given his age, lit a fire under him, spurring him to action to rectify this terrible turn. He's now working 3 separate jobs and a total of 90+ hours per week. Understandably, he's quite exhausted, but at least he still feels like a man. :P (hope you're doing ok cane)

Games added: Nothing

Last week: Finished nothing, played Atlas Fallen & Planet of Lana

This week: Same.

Nothing much has changed. Atlas Fallen made me thing I was right at the end, then...I wasn't. I'm taking my time w/ Planet of Lana, still really enjoying that one. Savoring it.

These are the ones (minus Rugrats :P) that stood out to me as well.

* I didn't realize they were making a Space Maring 2 either - probably because they release a ton of Warhammer games & most of them are either strategy or multiplayer-focused. I'll definitely be looking for this one...when it gets cheap. :)

* Funko Fusion is going to suck. The trailer looks bad, it's cashing in on a fad that's on its way out, and it just looks...awful. Also, I'll be buying it once it hits the bargain bin, because I'm a sucker for all things MOTU.

* I want Lollipop Chainsaw when it gets cheap as well. Really enjoyed this game, it's dumb fun and there's some very funny banter between the main girl (forgot her name) and her boyfriend's head. Also, fun fact, this was GOING to be a remake, but the fans of the original were upset with some of the proposed changes, so they decided to do a good remaster instead to keep it true to the original. Sounds like the right call to me, but we'll see if they stuck the landing.

* I'm down for MvC Collection as well, but being the physical fiend I'll be waiting until Nov. I'll make it. ;)

A $700 PS5 Pro when most of the games I'm playing & enjoying aren't even taxing current hardware? Sony may have fully lost their minds.

Not even close! I just don't go to my upstairs work area (where my PC is) very often as an unemployed bum. I'll try to do better. :P

Played recently: Outriders

Finished: nothing

Added to backlog: Vampire Survivors

Current backlog: 41

I finished the main game of Outriders and immediately grabbed the DLC. I just have a few more areas to get through to be done, but they are very tough solo. I have really enjoyed the ride... will probably go back at some point and try one of the other builds. Great loot, great shooting and a great story (well, at least early on).

Well, I tried to connect the dots within my imagination. :P Just glad to hear that you're doing alright! :)

***********************

On a gaming note, I finished up the final boss in Kaze and the Wild Masks a couple days ago and am working on 100%. I still don't know if I'll do it all or not, but I'm having fun trying. Game says I am at 86% so not too much more to go I guess.

The last boss was initially very tough with multiple stages and shifts in gameplay. But it was one of those that once you've got it down, it feels very easy for the most part. It was very well designed and fun though and the game overall is a really satisfying platformer. Surely a game I would recommend.

A $700 digital only PS5 Pro, no thanks. It’s doubtful that I will ever get another console, I have around 1000 PS4 games so I don’t need another one. I’m 54, my eyes are bad and I plan on retiring to the Philippines.
