I haven’t heard of most of those, but that’s how you find hidden gems especially for those prices. I buy games that I haven’t heard of if they look interesting and are cheap, because sometimes they turn out to be games that I really enjoy. Sometimes they don’t, but that’s a chance that I take to find stuff that I really like.
Yeah, that's one of the best benefits of having a big backlog too. You've got the ability to wait out for ridiculous price points. I know some people have FOMO about everything new, but I've never been that way. I skip to my own tune, ha.

Thanks for posting your list Izzy - I do recognize a lot of those, but there are a lot I don't so I'll have to go through those and see if any strike my fancy.
I picked these up today in Play-Asia's 5 for $10 Steam sale:
Strider (only one I already had, on PS4 I believe, but I love this game so wanted it on PC as well)
Panzer Paladin
Mail Mole
Neoverse
Fae Tactics
Thanks for letting us know about the play-asia sale. I'll check it out. The only thing I've ever bought from them was a physical import copy of Siren for PS3.

I got a tiny haul from the PSN sale:
I'm sure some of those have been played or recommended by you guys.
I played Mad Max on PS4 and I enjoyed the atmosphere, but for some reason I didn't stick with it to the finish. I remember it feeling a bit repetitive and overly "structured" in a Ubi way at the time I think. But I liked enough about it that I'd be open to revisiting it. It was one of those games that you're enjoying but not enough that it completely captures you, and it just kind of fades off your radar without you even fully noticing - at least it was like that for me. But it had enough strengths that I think it deserves another proper go from me at some point.
I have the other two in my backlog and always thought they were interesting, but I've not fired them up for even a test drive.

My expectations are low but I want to give it a shot after hearing a lot of folks say it's a hidden gem.

I can’t believe that you bought those instead of Asterigos: Curse of the Stars and King’s Bounty II. Children of Morta is ok at first, but becomes difficult and repetitive fast. Mad Max is also ok, but kind of generic and focuses on the car stuff too much which was a turnoff for me. I have The Deadly Tower of Monsters, but haven’t played it yet. Asterigos: Curse of the Stars and King’s Bounty II are a couple of the best games that I’ve played in recent years, and were a steal at their PS Store sale prices.

Well, money was tight for me when those were on sale. They are now $35 and $40.
Oh man, I played Deadly Tower of Monsters several years back and loved it. Good pickup!

I just grabbed a pretty good-looking bundle of 10 games for $5 from Fanatical:
