Played recently: Sword of the Sea

Finished: Sword of the Sea

Added to backlog: nothing

I finished Sword of the Sea and immediately started again with NG+. Very enjoyable game. Not quite the powerful experience that Journey was, but other aspects (SSXish moves, sand-to-sea transformations) help to make up for that. Recommended for everyone here.

After I finish my second run-through I'll start thinking about what to play next.

NEXT WEEK IS VOL. 400!

I decided I needed a break from Inferno Climber and decided to do some light gaming as a sort of brief reprieve. I'm loving it, but the ponderous progress is wearing on me. I know you guys are probably unfamiliar, but if you enjoy Souls/etc., it's surely worth playing. (Some versions are very poorly optimized, fwiw.)

Anyway, I started Cat Quest - a game that ended up in my library through some bundle. It's pretty entertaining but nothing "substantial". Just what I was looking for. Nice and easy, mindless fun for a bit, ha.

Of course, still playing OOTP. Towards the end of my 3rd season, injuries have ravaged my team. Lost my best offensive superstar, two of my top starting pitchers and one of my better relievers. I'm still hanging on at only 3 games back of the wild card, but time (and team health) is working against my chances. Really crushing to see things start to fade solely due to the injury bug. I'll keep fighting and hoping, but I may have to start thinking about next season, sigh. The agony of defeat...ready for the thrill of victory. :P

"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed
if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I
became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the
desire to be very grown up.” ― C.S. Lewis
