Finished: Two Point Campus (platinum 103)

Now Playing: Nothing, waiting on Ghost of Yotei

Added to Backlog: Nothing

Current Backlog: 38 games

Two Point Campus is in the books! Might get the DLC packs if they go on sale in the future, but we'll see. I would need some time before diving into Two Point Museum or Hospital as I imagine they are very similar. Excited for Ghost of Yotei this week!

Games added: Nothing?

Last week: Finished nothing, played Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor

This more: More DRG until Thurs, then Yotei

I don't want to get into anything before Yotei, so I'm just killing time with DRG until then.
"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed
if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I
became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the
desire to be very grown up.” ― C.S. Lewis

I think I'm going to pick it up in this Steam sale. It's super cheap. I already have Hospital but haven't fired it up.

I made the playoffs in my OOTP league finally(first time and very hard to do in my league configuration - only 12 of 50 or 6/25 in each league) and won the first round wild-card series 4-2 against the team I think was actually the best in the USBL but finished just behind the team with the overall best record in the league. I was a bit surprised I pulled it out, even though we were 3-3 against them in the regular season. Their offense was one of the best in this league's short history in this 1964 season.

I finished 15-3 down the stretch of the regular season to ultimately win my division by 4 games after flirting with first through third place for a most of the season. Now I'm 2-2 in the Divisional Round after being down 2-0. My pitching/defense can often shut down the best of offenses. I still don't expect to win it all this year (Year 4 of the USBL), but it's not impossible. I'll keep dreaming until proven a guy with his head in the clouds, ha. Sooner or later I'll get back to continuing (and finishing) my league thread, if only for my own sanity as I post into the void. :P

I'm also about to update my 2024 yearly review thread with my #2 game - hopefully this week. For any who have been reading, it wasn't my intent to be so slow about it, but this year has just been that kind of thick and sludgy sort of thing for me. It won't be too long after finishing my 2024 that I'll have to start my 2025 countdown, lol.

Hope you all are doing what you do!

I moved on from baseball pretty quickly this year thanks to the Orioles' season of crushing disappointment. I'm sure my hopes will regenerate by spring. :? But I'm glad you're having success in OOTP. Maybe you'll have a miracle October and win it all. You've probably said this before, but which of those 50 is your team?

Yeah, come spring all will be sprung. :P

I did NOT mention who my team was because I didn't yet get to them in my USBL league thread. But I'll mention it and cover them more in depth when I get to it. I am the Michigan Lakesiders. I decided to be the team in Michigan because of my memories of my grandmother taking my brother and I to see Tigers games and wonderful old (and gone :() Tiger stadium, as odd and kind of beat up as it was. I also remember watching games on tv at her house and often listening to the smooth tones of Ernie Harwell on the radio, rip. Those are such special memories and I wanted to sort of honor those within this league. I haven't uploaded their logo/uniforms, so I'll hopefully share eventually.
