I didn't know the new Katamari was out. Have any of y'all ball-rollers played it?

Played recently: Borderlands 4

Finished: nothing

Added to backlog: nothing

Cut and paste again: Still having a lot of fun with Borderlands, and still running into annoying technical issues. They had a big update that patched a lot of stuff, which has made it better. But that one glitched area is still messed up, which I learned when I went through it yet again. Sigh.

Games added: Outer Worlds 2

Last week: Finished nothing, played Yotei, Ball x Pit, DRG:S, & a little Outer Worlds 2

This week: Same, focusing on Yotei

I'm not far behind J in Yotei, I'm about to wrap up the northern area - probably tonight.

I had some Bing points to spare so I picked up the season pass for OW2 this past weekend. The game itself is on GP, but the season pass will give me the story dlc & let me play the game early. It's really good so far, but I'm gonna focus on finishing up Yotei before I get fully sunk into it. My list of abandoned games this year is shameful.

Bruh, I haven’t even started up Pirate Yakuza yet. ME! Not playing a Yakuza/Like A Dragon game...they released FFT and I still don't own it!

Played: A little bit of Ys Origin and Space Marine. Trying to transition to a 10-20 minute gaming session type person vs marathon sessions.

Bought; Nothing

Beat: HA!

This week: My wife promised me this weekend to be free but who knows. If so, I really do want to play Pirate Yakuza...if not, GB Relink it will be!

Not yet. After Yotei, I will be diving into DQ I & II HD-2D remake. I wanted to get Katamari now so I could show support.

I had more side stuff to do in Yotei in the northern area than I thought, so I didn't get it wrapped up last night - but I *think* I've completed all of the side stuff in that area now. Maybe. We'll see. But not tonight, because I was an idiot and volunteered to stay late for the "trunk or treat" we're doing tonight. If you don't know by chance what "trunk or treat" is because it may be a Southern invention or whatever, it's the worst bastardization of trick or treat-ing you can imagine. So yeah.

I'm very interested in hearing about that new Katamari as well when you get to it J.

Also, has anyone here heard of / played an indie that I guess released this month called Absolum? I've heard it compared to a cross between Streets of Rage & Hades, which just sounds all kinds of my jam. Combine that with a really cool art style and I'm jonesing for it.

Will do.

Yeah, the northern area is pretty big with a lot to do. Some updates from me: using the songs to find gear/items is weird (it can send you from region to region, I thought it was just going to be the part you're currently in) AND that certain side boss fight is very tough (I had no shame in dropping down the difficulty to win, thought it was cheap in certain aspects).

I definitely dropped it in the last duel fight - dunno if that's the one you're talking about or not. And I had already made the window for counters & parries easy. :P Zero shame in my game.
