Added to Backlog: Nothing
Current Backlog: 39 games
Tons of Yotei - up to 48 hours played an almost completely done with the furthest North region. Doubtful I will finish Yotei this week as I have several things going on, however I will be purchasing Powerwash Simulator 2 and already have Once Upon a Katamari pre-ordered.

Hey!
Played: Some Space Marine. A little of Islets (indie search action game made by one dude and his brother did the music). I think that's it. When I get a seat on the train (which has been ROUGH lately), I will get to Relink.
Bought: Nothing. I think I am starting to realize that I need to get through a backlog and window shop instead of actually buying
.
Beat: HA!
Hope all's well fam, I'm not gaming much but I'm busy and content at the moment. I get to lift everyday, the kittens Rocksteady and Bebop continue to train hilariously to defeat the Turtles by attacking each other adorably, and the babies are super into me reading the bedtime story (the youngest baby finds my villain laugh to be hilarious) lately so I am getting by on that

You just gave me an intense and unexpected pang of nostalgic melancholy for days and moments that were sweet, have gone and will never return. Bittersweet change...it never ends.

On the gaming front, I'm still (obviously) completely wrapped up in my OOTP obsession. I also started playing a short Metroidvania called Sheepo - just something to flesh out my 2025 roster of played titles, but it has been really fun. Somewhat simple visually, but the vibe and platforming is top-notch.

Glad I'm getting to do storytime again with the grandbabies.
Played recently: Borderlands 4
Finished: nothing
Added to backlog: nothing
Cut and paste from last week: Still having a lot of fun with Borderlands, and still running into annoying technical issues. Most irritating: One of the supposedly toughest areas of the game is glitched. After a few tries, I defeated the bosses... but one didn't "die," it just kept taking damage forever. Tried it again and killed all the bosses, but underlings just kept respawning over and over. Totally unacceptable for a game to be released in such a state, and yet it's a great time when it's not broken.

Games added: Nothing
Last week: Finished nothing, played Yotei, DRG:S, and Ball x Pit
This week: Same.
Ball x Pit was a day-1 Gamepass add (I'm prepaid on it until sometime around March or so, if I find a deal to keep it reasonable before then I'll re-up, otherwise not). It's a lot of fun, basically a cross between Vampire Survivors and something like Breakout.
Story time: Long, long, long ago when I was in college, a couple of friends and I were stuck someplace right around time for supper. We were starving, but it was going to be a bit still before we could get someplace to eat so in the meantime someone had bought a box of Mike & Ike candy & we were passing it around. One of my friends, while chewing on a couple of them, goes "These things are terrible.....give me some more."
DRG:S is the Mike & Ike of video games. It's objectively not a great game, but I can't quit playing the stupid thing. Especially since I haven't been in the mood for story gameplay recently, so I have been playing more of it & Ball x PIt than I have Yotei. And I'm too lazy to dig through my backlog to find something else, probably better, that would scratch the same itch.
Oh well.
